Moscow Department of Support and Development of Small and Middle Entrepreneurship has examined
your proposal regarding the implementation of the TLDs .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА.
Of course, Moscow is a quite big city that should be represented in the Internet and implementation
of the TLDs mentioned above will help to form the public image of the Russian capital and make more
accessible all kinds of governmental services, provided electronically. That’s why Moscow Department
of Support and Development of Small and Middle Entrepreneurship supports the idea of introduction
the TLDs.
At the same time I’d like to inform you that for all information technology issues is responsible Moscow
Committee of the information technologies, according to distribution of functions among the bodies of
Moscow government.
That’s why it’s better to send a formal proposal of the TLDs implementation to this Committee. In
case of their introduction Moscow Department of Support and Development of Small and Middle
Entrepreneurship will consider the possibility of transition of its official websites on the addresses
with .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА endings.
